Working with Styles and Collections

Updated today

This guide covers the hands-on workflows for creating, managing, and generating content from Styles and Collections in AI Studio's My Styles section.

<!-- πŸ“Έ HERO IMAGE: My Styles page with a Collection selected, several Styles visible in the list, and one Style previewed in the right panel -->

Creating a New Collection

  1. Go to My Styles in the left sidebar

  2. Click + New Collection in the top right

  3. Choose how you want to create your Collection:

Method

What it does

Import from Shopify

Paste your Shopify collection page URL β€” AI Studio imports every product in that collection and creates a separate Style for each one, with all its images

Upload ZIP Folder

Upload a ZIP folder of product images β€” each subfolder becomes its own Style within the Collection

Import from Google Drive

Import from a Google Drive folder β€” each product's images are pulled in and organised as individual Styles

Create Manually

Start with an empty Collection and add Styles one by one yourself

With the import methods (Shopify, ZIP, Google Drive), you don't get an empty folder β€” AI Studio automatically creates a Style for every product it finds and pulls in all associated images. For example, importing a Shopify collection with 25 products will create a Collection containing 25 Styles, each with its own product images already uploaded and ready to process.

Create Manually is the only method that starts with an empty Collection. Use it when you want to add products one at a time or when your images aren't in one of the supported import sources.

Tip: If your products are already on Shopify, Import from Shopify is the fastest path β€” paste the collection URL and AI Studio imports everything in one go. For brands not on Shopify, Upload ZIP Folder is the next quickest option for bulk imports.

Adding Styles to a Collection

  1. Select a Collection from the left panel

  2. Click + Add Style at the top of the Styles list

  3. Upload your product images or paste a product URL

AI Studio will process the images β€” analysing the product, detecting the category, and classifying images as Front or Back views.

Once processing completes, the Style appears in the list with a Processed status badge and is ready for generation.

Products vs Banners

Each Collection has two tabs: Products and Banners.

  • Add product images under the Products tab β€” these are used for on-model images, videos, ghost mannequin, and hanger rack outputs

  • Add banner assets under the Banners tab β€” these are used for campaign creatives and marketing banners

Previewing a Style

Click on any Style in the list to open the preview panel on the right. The preview shows:

  • Style name β€” e.g., "Serene White Maxi Dress"

  • Processed images β€” the final processed output images

  • Input images β€” the original product images you uploaded, with their Front/Back classification

  • Open Editor β€” button to edit the Style's images, name, or classification

Linking a Guideline to a Collection

Linking a Guideline to a Collection means every Style in that Collection can be generated with the same settings β€” no per-product configuration needed.

  1. In the Collections list, find the Collection you want to link

  2. Click + Link Guideline under the Collection name

  3. Select a Guideline from your library

Once linked, the Guideline name appears under the Collection name. You can change or unlink it at any time.

<!-- πŸ“Έ SCREENSHOT: Collection with "+ Link Guideline" text, and another Collection showing a linked Guideline name (e.g., "sample_guideline_1") -->

Tip: If you haven't created a Guideline yet, go to My Guidelines β†’ + Create Guideline first, then come back and link it. See What are Guidelines and why do they matter? for the full walkthrough.

Generating Content from Styles

Single Style

  1. Select a Style by clicking its checkbox in the Styles list

  2. In the bottom bar, choose your output type (Images, Videos, etc.)

  3. Select the AI model and resolution

  4. Click Create

Batch Generation (Multiple Styles)

  1. Select multiple Styles using their checkboxes β€” or use the select-all checkbox at the top of the Styles list

  2. Confirm the output type, AI model, and resolution in the bottom bar

  3. Click Create

AI Studio will generate content for every selected Style using the Collection's linked Guideline settings. If no Guideline is linked, you'll be prompted to configure settings manually.

<!-- πŸ“Έ SCREENSHOT: Bottom bar with multiple Styles selected, showing the selection count, output type set to "Images", AI model set to "Auto", resolution set to "1K", and the Create button -->

Tip: For large drops (30+ SKUs), batch generation is the fastest workflow. Link your Guideline, select all Styles, and generate in one go. A 50-product Collection at standard resolution can be generated in a single session.

Managing Style Statuses

Styles move through different statuses as they're processed and reviewed.

Processing Statuses

Status

What to do

Processed

Needs Input

Open the Style editor and provide the missing information or images

Check the input images β€” re-upload with cleaner, higher-resolution product shots

Review Statuses

Status

What it means

Approved

Reviewed and confirmed β€” ready for final generation

In Review

Shared via a Review Link, waiting for feedback

Editing a Style

Click Open Editor in the Style preview panel (or click the Style name) to:

  • Rename the Style

  • Add or remove input images

  • Reclassify images as Front or Back

  • View and manage processed outputs

Changes take effect immediately β€” no need to reprocess unless you upload new images.
