Your First Creation: A Quick Start Guide

Updated today

AI Studio lets you generate professional on-model images from a product photo in minutes β€” no photoshoot required. This guide walks you through creating your first image from start to finish.

Before You Begin

You'll need:

  • A product image (JPG or PNG) or a product URL from your store

  • At least 10 credits (each Full HD image costs 10 credits)

New to AI Studio? You can try the flow without your own product β€” sample links are available on the first step.

Step 1: Choose a Creation Type

From the Home screen, you'll see two ways to start:

  • Create from Scratch β€” full control over model, pose, background, and style

  • Create from a Guideline β€” uses a saved template to generate instantly with pre-set styles and models

For your first creation, click Create Images under Create from Scratch.

Step 2: Add Your Product

On the Start with your product screen, you have three options:

  • Paste a product URL β€” enter a link from your Shopify store or any product page. AI Studio will extract the product images automatically.

  • Upload from Device β€” upload a JPG or PNG directly from your computer.

  • Select from My Styles β€” pick a product you've already added to your style library.

Next, choose an Aspect Ratio for your output:

Ratio

Best for

9:16 (Reels)

Instagram Reels, short-form video

1:1 (Square)

Instagram feed, marketplace thumbnails

3:4 (Portrait)

Product detail pages

4:3 (Landscape)

Website banners

16:9 (Widescreen)

YouTube, desktop hero images

Click Continue when ready.

Step 3: Classify Your Images (Optional)

AI Studio will analyze your product and auto-detect the category (for example, Women β†’ Western Wear β†’ Dresses).

It will also auto-classify your images as Front or Back views. You can:

  • Accept the auto-classification and click Continue

  • Drag images between Front and Back if anything was misclassified

  • Skip this step entirely β€” it's optional

Tip: Classifying front and back views helps AI Studio generate more accurate, realistic on-model images. It's worth doing when your product has a distinct back design.

Step 4: Choose Your Model

Browse from 95+ models across different ages, ethnicities, and looks. You can:

  • Pick any standard model from the grid

  • Click View all 95 models to browse the full library

  • Click Use your models to select a custom model you've created

<!-- πŸ“Έ SCREENSHOT: Model selection grid showing standard model cards with name and age range labels, and the "View all 95 models" button -->

Select one model and click Next.

Step 5: Choose Style & Mood

This step controls how your images will look.

Shot type: Choose between:

  • Catalog β€” clean, product-focused studio shots

  • Editorial β€” lifestyle and mood-driven campaign shots

Pose preset: Select a pose pack from the grid (each preset contains 4–9 poses). You can also click Use your poses to use a custom pose set.

Auto-Style is turned on by default. When enabled, AI Studio automatically picks the background, accessories, and overall aesthetic to match your product. This is the fastest way to get great results.

Want more control? Toggle off Auto-Style to manually choose your background, accessories, and add specific styling instructions.

<!-- πŸ“Έ SCREENSHOT: Same screen with Auto-Style toggled OFF, showing the expanded Background, Style Accessories, and Additional Info options -->

Click Next when done.

Step 6: Review & Generate

Before generating, confirm your selections:

  • Product β€” number of images being used

  • Model β€” the model you selected

  • Style & Mood β€” your chosen pose preset

Then configure your output quality:

AI Model β€” controls the generation engine:

  • Auto β€” AI Studio picks the best model for your product (recommended for beginners)

  • Nano Banana 2 / Pro β€” great for photoshoots and images with text

  • Seedream 4.5 β€” balanced quality with strong product realism

  • Seedream 5.0 Lite β€” best model realism and pose accuracy, supports up to 4K

Resolution:

  • 0.5K β€” fast preview, lower quality

  • Standard β€” good for most use cases

  • High β€” recommended for product pages

  • Ultra β€” maximum quality, best for print or large-format use

<!-- πŸ“Έ SCREENSHOT: Review screen showing the Your Selections summary (Product, Model, Style & Mood) alongside the AI Model picker and Resolution options -->

When you're ready, click Generate Images. Your creation will appear in All Creations once it's done.

  • Edit using text edit or visual edit to refine specific details

  • Regenerate if you want a different result with the same settings

  • Save to a Collection in My Styles for future use
