Videos bring your products to life and make your shopping experience more engaging. This article explains all the ways you can upload videos to Whatmore, from syncing Instagram or TikTok content to adding files manually, so you can keep your library fresh and ready.

Use Cases

Customer reviews

Showcasing real customers using your products adds social proof and credibility. Video reviews help shoppers see the product in real-life scenarios, understand its benefits, and hear genuine feedback from people like them. This builds trust, addresses common hesitations, and drives higher conversions.

Product demos

Demo videos let you highlight key features, functionality, and the overall experience of using your product. Whether it’s how a skincare serum absorbs, how a dress moves, or how a gadget works, demos provide clarity that static images can’t. They help shoppers visualize the product in action.

Setup

1. On the Whatmore dashboard, find “Videos”.

2. To enable your social’s feed, connect your Instagram by simply entering your Instagram username.

Only videos uploaded to your Instagram profile within the last 60 days will sync to your Whatmore dashboard. To add older videos, upload them manually (explained below) instead.

Pro Tip: To ensures your dashboard always stays up-to-date without any manual effort, saving you time and keeping your content fresh, automatically sync reels. Just toggle Auto-sync on, then choose how often you want new media to be pulled in: every day or every 7 days.

Ensure that you save changes.

3. Alternatively, to add videos to your website, go to “Website Videos” and click “Add Media.” You’ll see three upload options, here’s how each one works:

Via Instagram

This feature lets you import videos directly from your Instagram feed, so you don’t have to upload them manually.

Simply enter your Instagram username and select the videos you want to add, or enable all of them for the homepage.

If you prefer not to connect your feed, you can also import individual reels by pasting their URL.

Via TikTok

This feature lets you import videos directly from your TikTok feed, saving you the effort of uploading them manually.

Similar to importing from Instagaram, enter your TikTok username and select the videos you want to add, or enable all of them for the homepage. If you’d rather not connect your feed, you can also import individual TikToks by pasting their URL.

Via Manual Upload

If you prefer to add videos manually, you can click to upload them or simply drag and drop.

Once uploaded, your videos are ready to be tagged and transformed into engaging shoppable content.
