Creating Collections

Collections are curated, collage-style layouts that showcase multiple shoppable videos in one visual grid. They let you group related content, like a product line, theme, or campaign, so shoppers can explore several videos at once and tap into the ones that catch their eye. It’s an engaging way to present a fuller story, highlight a range of items, and drive discovery through a visually rich, shoppable experience.

Use Collections to create a visually rich, shoppable lookbook. By grouping multiple styling or outfit videos into a collage, shoppers can browse full looks, explore different ways to wear key pieces, and tap directly into the items they love.

Showcase curated videos from creators or brand ambassadors in a single, shoppable collage. This lets shoppers explore recommendations from trusted voices, discover new products through authentic perspectives, and shop directly from the creator’s featured content.

1. On the Whatmore dashboard, find “Collection Pages” under Video Widgets, then click on “Start Creating.”

2. Once you choose to Add Collection Section, you will be redirected to the Shopify Theme Editor. Click on “Save” to save all changes. You can now begin creating your collections.

3. Within a collection, you can choose to add media from your existing gallery, upload new ones, or link your Instagram/TikTok to retrieve them.

4. You can manage media and status for the Collection.

1. In the Shopify Theme Editor, hover over the carousel and click “Whatmore Collection” to customise it.

2. You’ll see several options that let you control the heading, layout and video tile sizes across desktop and mobile. Here’s what each setting does:

- Heading: Enter the text you want to display above your carousel. This is usually a short section title like “Watch and Buy” or “Trending”.

- Tile Type: The available options determine how videos appear. There are multiple templates for you to choose from. The Grid Style - No Border is shown below.

- Tile Size (in percentage): Adjust the width of each tile on desktop.

- Tile Size Mobile (in percentage): Control tile width specifically for mobile devices, ensuring mobile users get an optimised browsing experience.

- Minimum Height (in pixels): Set the minimum vertical height of each tile to maintain visual consistency.

Ensure you Save the changes on your Shopify Theme Editor. Your Collection is now ready to be viewed!
